Red Carpet Review: 2015 Met Gala
RED CARPET
REVIEW: 2015 Met Gala
Hello fashionistas,
It's May. The fashionistas are so pumped up for this yearly
event which the Met Gala. All the celebrities are walking the red carpet looking
dashing and stylish with their looks. Some of them look great and others are the
opposite of it. Whatever the celebrities wore this evening, they would surely wind
up in the best and worst dressed list.
This year's theme in the Met: China Looking through the Glass.
It showcases how China influences the world until the modern day. The pieces were
shown in the Met are all Chinese art, film and fashion.
I know that the fashionistas are looking forward to this especially
me. The thing that I'm talking about is the red carpet fashion. I personally picked
the ones that I like and love on the red carpet. I must say, most of the celebrities
followed the theme for this year's gala and some them just stick to their style.
I'm happy to see that there are variations of outfits that are to die for. I’m
quite disappointed to those who misinterpreted their outfit to the theme of the
gala.
Here are my picks for this year's
Met Gala:
RIHANNA
in Guo Pei
Riri amazed all of us with this gorgeous gown. This yellow gown matches her well and theme of the gala with her red bob cut hair and a headpiece. She looks absolutely fabulous.
KIM KARDASHIAN WEST
in Roberto Cavalli
Kim K's gown was inspired form Cher's first Met gala. Her ponytail and subtle jewelry totally matches with this gown. It shows her curves and tanned skin.
JENNIFER LOPEZ
in Atelier Versace
This red Versace sheer gown fires up JLo's beautiful body. I really love the she styled her hair and her accessories.
BEYONCE
in Givenchy
The queen B is looking fabulous with the embroidered Givenchy sheer gown. With the high ponytail and nude pumps, she definitely pulled this off even she was an hour late.
EMILY BLUNT
in Prada
HELEN MIRREN
in Dolce and Gabbana
JENNIFER LAWRENCE
in Dior
JUSTIN BIEBER
in Balmain
KAROLINA KURKOVA
in Tommy Hilfiger
KATE HUDSON
in Michael Kors
MIRANDA KERR
in Louis Vuitton
REESE WITHERSPOON
in Jason Wu
CLAIRE DANES
in Valentino
ANNE HATHAWAY
in Ralph Lauren
SOFIA VERGARA
in Marchesa
SARAH JESSICA PARKER
in H&M
AMAL CLOONEY
in Maison Margiela
ZENDAYA
in Fausto Puglisi
